Art made by sketching and painting
The Illustration Friday topic for this week is Poem.

I've made the rose with Bruynzeel Sakura pastel on Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper last week. I've written the poem in October 2006 — both were made for my lovely wife Caroline. Click the image to view a big version.

Have a look at these fantastic watercolor paintings by French Toast Girl. These almost daily posts are delightful to watch and the whole website is made in the same beautiful theme. Highly recommended!
